Stolen bike

Post by mrmanunited2 » Sat Oct 25, 2014 9:48 pm

Just thought I'd give you a heads up, my moped got stolen under block A last night (23rd Oct). It was securely locked etc. so if you do keep anything under the flats, be vigilant...

Have you let GCS know - they have access to CCTV and might be able to help.

I know of a motor incident that took place last year that the police initially weren't interested in that ended up leading to a court prosecution when the CCTV proved it.. Although it happened during the day and I dont know how good the images are at night.

Thanks AI D. The police have been around and getting in touch with GCS on Monday when they re-open. They're not hopeful, but you never know.

They also said they're going to do a leaflet drop to the flats just to remind people to make sure all the flat occupants cars / bikes are well locked as they could come back...

Thanks for the concern and updates. The police got hold of the CCTV footage on Friday, so hopefully reviewing over the next few days
