I see the signs are up for the new shop in the old H&H place in the high street, but being a bit old and senile I have forgotten what it was, I think it was Warehouse something or other I also see Costa is now closed for refurbishment

Planning application was in 2016 and plans show 'Warehouse outlet' sign. The decision was given in Jan 2017. 9 month turnaround? M and S could learn from this.

Aldi closed on May 31st - M&S will open late Feb, early March - roughly the same 9 month turnaround

It seems we are to have a Thai massage parlour in the town.

Situated where the butcher's was in Bridge Street.

Oo, er, missus!

I was in the shop next door and there was some shopfitting going on so I asked the owner.

If you think about it, there's Chinese massage and medicine further down Bridge Street and a similar sort of beauty place in the High Street.

As we remember, the brilliant butchers that was their could not cope because of the extortionate business rates.
I really do not see a Thai massage parlour doing as well as an English Butcher!

Probably depends on their method of paying the rates!

Don't eat much meat but really miss that butcher, especially this time of year.

Used the Cottimore one last year and wasn't as good.

I noticed the other day, there's a new upmarket butcher's in Cobham. Probably, worth a visit.

P J Dale at 27 Bridge Road near Hampton court is brilliant. But, parking can be a problem.
