I heard a rumour last night that a sit down Pizza Hut will be occupying the old Dorothy Perkins site in the High Street after refurb.

Please tell me it ain’t so!

I wonder if they will do something like this for Walton. Would mean their existing takeaway store might close and move to this site. So basically takeaway and dining too. I think when they planned the revamp here maybe they already had clients who would take on the site.

I could certainly see Carpet Right move into one of the new stores where Boots/Whsmiths is. Planning would take months anyway for a new supermarket.

Some bad news. Gourmet Burger Kitchen future in doubt. So Walton store could close if it goes under.

I would like to see the old Woolworths block with Wilkinson knocked down. They could have an ALdi/travel lodge there.

Underground parking. I do agree more flats locally will cause more parking issues.
