Giraffe
burst onto the restaurant scene in 1998 with a restaurant in London’s
Hampstead. There are now 12 restaurants around London with one in Milton Keynes
and one in Manchester
The Walton-on-Thames restaurant will be the first restaurant in Surrey and will be situated in New Zealand Avenue as part of the exciting new Heart development.
The giraffe concept is simple. It’s about freshly cooked, global food, world music & great people. The menu - inspired by the best flavours from around the world, includes must-have all day brunches, fresh sustainable fish, appetizer nibbles, fresh salad bowls, noodles & stir-fries to fab gourmet burgers, healthy fresh fruit smoothies, delicious indulgent cheesecake, hand crafted coffee, cocktails, beers and carefully selected wines.
Some
of the most popular dishes served are sharing mezze plates, healthy superfoods
feta and oregano salad, all day brunch plate, stacked blueberry & banana
pancakes, firecracker chicken noodle stir fry, balsamic roasted vegetable
burrito, jerk grilled chicken burger & swiss mountain chocolate cheesecake.
The restaurant design is warm and effective coupled with funky world music played at just the right level so conversation comes first.
