London Heathrow can also be reached by bus from Monday-Friday using the 555 or 556 service operated by Travel London. Journey time is typically an hour and ten minutes.
London Heathrow is also connected to the London Underground (Tube) network, with connections into London. Travel via London Underground takes quite some time. Your journey can be planned online using the Transport for London website. Transport for London:
London Gatwick: The most convenient and cost effective way to travel between Walton-on-Thames and Gatwick Airport is by train. London Gatwick airport is served by Southern Trains and Gatwick Express. Those wishing to travel between London Gatwick Airport and Walton-on-Thames should take the Southern Trains service towards London Victoria Station, changing at Clapham Junction station. From Clapham Junction, board a train travelling towards either Woking via Weybridge (platform 11) or Basingstoke (platform 9), stopping at Walton-on-Thames. Walton-on-Thames is served by South West Trains. The town is located on the main line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth. Walton is served by up to four services – two stopping and two semi-fast – per hour.

Walton-on-Thames railway station is around a 20-30 minute walk from the town centre. A taxi rank is located outside of the front of the station. Visitors arriving from London wishing to use a taxi should leave the station and cross under the station using the subway. A short ride to Walton with a metered taxi will cost in excess of £3.00.
