Walton-on-Thames.org is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of disability, device, or connection speed.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading hierarchy
- All images have descriptive alt text (decorative images have empty alt attributes)
- Keyboard navigable throughout, with visible focus indicators
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds (aiming for WCAG 2.1 AA)

- No autoplay video or audio
- Resizable text — content remains readable at 200% zoom
- ARIA landmarks and roles where appropriate
Known limitations
- Some third-party embeds (OpenStreetMap iframes) may not be fully accessible to screen reader users
- Older listings may have incomplete information
