How to submit an Enhanced Listing

An Enhanced Listing gives you more control over how your business or organisation is presented on Walton-on-Thames.org. You can add a custom description, your own photographs, embedded videos and links to your reviews or booking page.

Enhanced Listings are completely free and always will be.

An Enhanced Listing does not receive preferential category ranking simply because it is enhanced. The distinction is the additional content available within the listing, not paid or preferential placement.

How to qualify

To qualify for an Enhanced Listing, you must add the "Featured on Walton-on-Thames.org" badge to your own website and link it directly to your business or organisation's listing on Walton-on-Thames.org.

That is it. It is super easy and, best of all, it is totally free and always will be.

Choose a badge

Three colour variants are available. Please use the artwork as supplied, without cropping, recolouring or otherwise altering it.

Link the badge to your own listing

The badge must link to your individual directory listing on Walton-on-Thames.org, not simply to the Walton-on-Thames.org homepage. Your listing URL is the address of your own page in the directory, and it looks like https://walton-on-thames.org/directory/your-business-name/. You can find it by opening your listing from the directory and copying the address from your browser.

Save the badge image to your own website rather than linking to the copy hosted here, and keep the alternative text as "Featured on Walton-on-Thames.org".

Standard Listings and events do not need the badge

The badge is only relevant to Enhanced Listings. A Standard Listing in the directory is free and requires nothing in return, and submitting a local event is free and requires nothing in return. You are welcome to use the badge either way, but it is never a condition of appearing on the site.

Apply for an Enhanced Listing

When your badge is live on your website, send us the details below using the contact form and choose Enhanced Listing application as the subject. Every application is manually reviewed, as all submissions to this site are.

• Your business or organisation name
• The URL of your existing Walton-on-Thames.org listing
• The page on your website where you have added the badge
• Your custom description
• Your photographs
• Links to any videos, reviews or booking pages you want included
