Students of Birch Class at Ashley Park School set up and run a monthly coffee morning at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Hersham Road, practising life and work skills from baking to serving customers and talking with visitors.
The cafe is open to parents and families, members of the local community and residents of Adelaide House. Refreshments are free, with donations going to Holly’s Heroes and the Heathrow Special Needs Centre Farm. It is run in conjunction with the Voices of Hope charity.
