Walton-on-Thames Lawn Tennis Club
Eight-court tennis club on Tennis Close, with two courts under a winter dome, LTA-accredited junior coaching and holiday camps.
Walton-on-Thames Lawn Tennis Club plays on eight courts at Tennis Close, two of them covered by a dome through the winter. Adult membership is paused at present, but the club continues to welcome new junior members.
About
The club has eight courts: six artificial grass courts, recently resurfaced, and two Plexipave acrylic courts. Five carry LED floodlighting and can be played on until 10.30pm, and two sit under a dome for winter play. There is also a practice wall with a mini court, and a clubhouse with a bar, a lounge and table tennis.
Who it is for
Adults and juniors, across a range of standards, with competitive league play, coaching and social tennis. Adult membership is paused until March 2027 because the club is at capacity. New junior members are still welcome.
Activities
League tennis, coaching and social play. The junior programme includes LTA-accredited coaching through the summer, holiday camps during school breaks, and competitive play in LTA competitions. The club ran its club championships in September 2025.
When and where
Play runs year-round at Tennis Close, with the domed courts and the floodlights carrying the club through the winter months. Court bookings are handled through the club’s own online booking system.
Joining or taking part
Junior membership enquiries and court bookings both go through the club’s ClubSpark pages. Adults wishing to join should note the pause until March 2027.
