The Red Practice Walton, Walton-on-Thames: contact, registration and visiting information

The Red Practice Walton is an NHS GP practice at Walton Health Centre on Rodney Road, Walton-on-Thames. It is one of three separate practices in the building, alongside The White Practice and The Yellow Practice, each with its own patient list and phone number.

Registration and appointments

The NHS website listed the practice as accepting new patients when we checked (checked 21 September 2026). Lists can close at short notice, so confirm with the practice.

The practice's registration page includes a map of its practice boundary. It says it also accepts some registrations from outside the boundary, but that patients registered from outside it aren't eligible for home visits from the practice, and that it can review or decline out-of-area registrations.

Registration depends on where you live, not just on distance: most practices only register people inside their catchment area. The NHS website lets you check a postcode against this practice's catchment.

The Red Practice Walton shares Walton Health Centre with The White Practice and The Yellow Practice. They are separate practices with their own phone numbers and patient lists, so make sure you contact the one you're registered with.

The practice's website lists car parking, cycle parking, disabled parking and parent and child parking. It gives no charges, time limits or directions to the spaces.

Repeat prescriptions

The practice doesn't take repeat prescription requests by phone. It points patients to the NHS App first, with an online form for those who can't use it, and you can also order in person at the surgery.

Prescription drop-in box

The practice's website says that if you have a repeat prescription slip, you can drop it off at the prescription drop-in box. It doesn't say where the box is or when it can be reached.
